Liquid Black Soap
This olive oil-based soap is an efficient, natural cleaning product for both home and garden, and can easily replace a dozen household products.
Solvent-free and containing no artificial colourings, the black soap with olive oil cuts through grease and leaves surfaces clean and free of bacteria. It is biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
Thanks to its highly concentrated formula, a little goes a really long way.
Kitchen, bathroom, pans, barbecue: apply 1 tsp. on a sponge, thoroughly scrub, and rinse with warm water.
Floor surfaces (tiles, terracotta, parquet, marble): mix 2 tbsp. of soap for 5L of hot water, clean the surface, and let it dry.
Gardening: Protect your plants from pests by mixing 5 tbsp. of soap for 1L of water in a spray bottle, then spray on plants and flowers.
Laundry: use 3 tbsp. of this liquid soap in the detergent dispenser of your machine for 5 kg of laundry. For best use, regularly pour a glass of white vinegar into your fabric softener compartment. You can use the same proportions for washing by hand.
Stains: apply 1 tsp. and thoroughly scrub the stain; let it rest for a few minutes before placing in the washing machine or washing by hand.
The story of Savonnerie Fer a Cheval (which translates to the Horse Shoe in French) started in 1856 in Marseille, a city located in the south of France. It is the oldest soap factory crafting these famous Marseille soaps using the original recipe comprising only of plant oils with no added fragrances, preservatives or animal by-products.
